Re: Blepharitis
Hi Mary,
Re : Blepharitis --- MaryNY Posted by Sally - in - Idaho ® , Jun 26,2001,21:43 Top of Thread Archive I used to get blepharitis quite frequently until my ophthalmologist got me trained to do warm eyelid/lash scrubs with Johnson's baby shampoo morning and night (there are also packaged eye scrubs, but the shampoo works great). Since doing this, I have been free of the blepharitis. When it is active, warm soaks are helpful and I always required a prescription medication to get over it.
Hope this helps.

It was an antibiotic (I think!), but I can't recall which one. The results, however, were quick and good.

I had blepharitis before being diagnosed with blepharospasm. Use Johnsons baby shampoo a couple of times a day, rinsing well with warm water & cotton balls.Hope that helps you.

Mine was caused by allergies and it is necessary to used the scrubs on a daily basis to keep the pollen, etc., out of the eyes.
