Checkup

This morning I went to Seattle for another eye checkup. Everything is going well and my vision has improved to 20/25 without glasses. The surgeon was so pleased and so were we.
I came home and after lunch got busy and made food. I couldn't stop cooking. I made three things, including macaroni salad, which Gerry had requested.
Evelyn where it's hot and I'm finally able to keep warm without a sweatshirt.

Thanks, Mary. I've been outside watering the flowers and strawberries. My hubby has been painting the house on the outside. It's looking good. The original paint job was a "contractor's special", and didn't last long.
My sister is going in for major surgery Wed.. She has diverticulitis, and keeps running a temp with it. She gets very ill. She is sick now, and tomorrow she will have to do a cleanse and keep up the antibiotics till surgery on Wednesday. They will open her from one side to the other below her navel, and take out something in the colon area.

Evelyn, it was very good to hear that your vision is so much better. I'm so happy for you. I know that you are relieved and ecstatic about being able to see so well.

I hope that your sister's surgery goes well. My father has problems with diverticulitus, also and had to be hospitalized for it a couple of years ago. He was in tremendous pain with it.

Let us know how she does and keep us posted on your progress.

M y brother has Leukemia.He is going to have surgery to remove his spleem The doctors think that it might helps.His surgery is Thur.
