I requested a prescription for Emla Cream from my doctor today and was told that it had been removed from the market. It is being substituted with an over the counter cream. I will be picking it up tomorrow and will let you know what it is. Has anyone else had difficulty obtaining the emla cream recently? Wishing everyone good eye days! Lori in Virginia, but spending some time in Maine with my two 12 year old granddaughters. I wished I could have driven them to the beach and other places of interest rather than imposing on family members to transport us. However, we did have a wonderful time together. |

My doctor gave me a script for EMLA PLUS which works in 15 minutes and my insurance wouldn't pay for it (which usually means it is over the counter when they refuse to pay). They have never turned me down for anything before. I didn't get it because it was at least $60.00 which I thought was insane!
