I have a consultation on MON. Surgery on one eye Tues.
Does he take off the Bandage Wed.? It's Dr. Anderson, Surgery on Thursday and does he take the bandages off Fri? Am I free to go Fri or __your best quess. It's probably Sat. If I can get an Am appointment on Sat I can still see the Notre Dame game, or at least listen to it. That would be a good thing. Leaving Friday would mess everything up. I'm trying to set up air reservations. To go, one stop on Priceline 5 hours. Coming home 12 hours.
I'd also be interested in the different lengths of time it took for the swelling to go down . Ann Doyle

Ann,
As far as how long it takes the swelling to go down, give yourself several weeks. The bruising should be pretty much gone in a month, but the swelling could last some longer, and the itching as well. The forehead numbness may never go away, but you get used to it. Since I had both eyes done at once, I don't know what the procedure is for one eye at a time, but my advice (for what it's worth) would be to stay until after the Notre Dame game :-).
Prayers,
Cynthia in IL

I already have the tickets for Sunday. There is no way I would risk missing the ND Game Cynthia. Ann Doyle
