have any of you tried it? or something similar? the active ingredient is magnesium bromoglutamate and the insert says is used for nocturnal terror in children, enuresis and tics both in adults and children.

I've not heard of it before. Is it a prescription medication in the US? I did a search for it but couldn't come up with anything with either name. Anymore information on it?

This is a very rough translation of the insert, since I could just find it in Spanish. The doctor recommended it for my 5 year old daughter to help her stop peeing in bed at nights (enuresis), and it works very well. Of course as long as she doesn't drink too much water and stuff at night. She would pee every other night at least, and now it is almost maybe once a week if she drinks too much. Dr said it is a very mild medication, used mostly to balance the sleep patterns, but it has helped her a lot. I think the main use of it is to treat nocturnal terror on children, but as you can see the insert mentions tics. I would love to try it myself, but I am breastfeeding at the moment and I do not dare to, so I am asking if someone has used it, (probably has another name in US)

1.2.3.4.5.6.7 Pills,
Neurorregulator syrup
COMPOSITION: Each Pill contains: 0.150 g of bromhidrato of the glutamato of magnesium (BGM) (synthesis and Ferrer patent).
100 mililiter of SYRUP contain: 3.0 g of BGM and 0.18 prometacina hydrochlorate g.
ACTION FARMACOLOGICA: Psico-soma contains like active principle the bromhidrato of glutamato of magnesium (BGM Ferrer synthesis) that standardizes the nervous excitabilidad and produces a psychic sedación without decreasing the intellectual capacity and of response of the individual.
INDICATIONS: neurovegetative distonías. Somatic upheavals of functional type: palpitations, insomnia, taquicardias, precor­dial oppression, spasms of the esophagus. States of nervousness, agitation and anxiety. Nervous tics. In general in all the affections of psychosomatic origin.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: In the cases of depresivas psicopatías, states of hipotensiveos cardiorrespiratory insufficiencies.
INDIRECT EFFECT: The treatment does not produce habit nor causes phenomena of deficiency when suspending. It can produce somnolency that disappears when fitting the dose.
POSOLOGY And ADMINISTRATION: Adults: 2 pills 2 or 3 times a day, or 10 mililiter 2 or 3 times to the day.
Children: Up to 2 years: 2.5 mililiter 2 times to the day. Of 2 to 4 years: 5 mililiter 2 times to the day. Of 4 to 7 years: 10 mililiter 2 times to the day. Older than 7 years: 10 mililiter 2 or 3 times to the day.
PRESENTATIONS: Pills: Bottle with 30. Syrup: Bottle with 90 mililiter.
